MODERN | INTERPRETIVE

It's been a pleasure watching BRIDGE evolve into one of the most interesting and hard-working acts on the maritime jazz scene.  Their unique sense of harmony, as well as their interpretation of the jazz classics, have given them a real following in our part of the country.

I've loved working with Chad and Nick as they helped re-ignite the local jazz scene and this success helped play a role in developing the Harvest Music Festival's newest stage - The Tony George Jazz Stage.  All the best to BRIDGE as they work to explore new musical frontiers and draw new audiences in with their exceptional performances. - Brent Staeben.  Music Director, Harvest Music Festival

My first time seeing BRIDGE perform live was sublime, with Nick's vocals bringing life to the city. - Andrew McCullough.  The Brunswickan

I am thrilled to have BRIDGE Jazz as our house band. Their near-telepathic interplay and passion for a wide range of jazz styles, from traditional standards to modern harmonies, always keeps our customers entertained. The musicians, Nick Gummeson and Chad Ball, are both highly talented and bring their own unique touch to the band's performances. BRIDGE's popularity has only continued to grow since they became our house band and I highly recommend them to any venue looking to bring a touch of class to their establishment. - Crystal Shaw.  Manager, Southside Shake

It was a pleasure to have BRIDGE jazz play at an event series I hosted. Their presence added so much to the atmosphere, and their music was enjoyed by all in attendance. BRIDGE is a high-quality, high-class ensemble that I wholeheartedly endorse. - Claire.  Saint John Swing Dance
